ZENON LIGHTING – TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: 02/12/2025
By purchasing from Zenon Lighting Ltd (“Zenon Lighting”) or participating in any Zenon Lighting trial programme, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
Zenon Lighting designs, manufactures, and supplies professional-grade UV curing tools and accessories for automotive and specialist applications.
All UV Cube units are hand-assembled, tested, and quality-checked in the UK.
2. Purchase Options
Zenon Lighting offers three purchasing pathways:
A) VIP Trials (Limited Early-Access)
Exclusive trial access for early adopters and registered VIP users.
B) Standard Buy-Now Purchases
Customers may purchase units outright without participating in a trial.
Unless otherwise specified, all terms in this document apply to VIP trials, referred to as “Trial Programme.”
3. Standard Buy-Now Purchases
- Full payment is required at checkout.
- Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped.
- All prices include VAT where applicable.
- Shop Pay Installments and alternative payment methods may be available.
- Zenon Lighting may refuse or cancel any order at its discretion.
Standard purchases follow the 14-day change-of-mind return policy (see Section 11).
4. Trial Programme (VIP & Public Trials)
The Zenon Lighting Trial Programmes allow customers to test a UV Cube for up to 7 days, with a maximum 10-day return window, before choosing whether to purchase.
4.1 Eligibility & Allocation
- VIP trials may prioritise early supporters, content creators, or industry professionals.
- Public trials are open to all customers once trial inventory becomes available.
- Registration does not guarantee allocation of a trial unit.
- Zenon Lighting may approve or decline participation at its discretion.
5. Trial Payment Structure
5.1 £0 Upfront
- Trials require no upfront payment.
5.2 £650 Authorisation Hold (Not a Charge)
To protect against loss, damage, or non-return:
- A £650 payment authorisation is placed on your nominated card at checkout.
- This is not an initial charge.
- It confirms card validity and ensures funds are available if the unit is not returned.
- No funds are captured unless a charge event occurs as outlined in Section 6.
The hold remains active until:
- You choose to keep the unit (converts to a charge), or
- You return the unit successfully (hold is cancelled).
6. Trial Period, Returns & Auto-Charge
6.1 Trial Duration
- The 7-day usage period begins on the day the unit is delivered.
6.2 Return Window
- You have 3 days following the 7-day trial period to dispatch the return.
6.3 Return Label (On Request Only)
- Return labels are not included inside the trial box.
- Customers must notify Zenon Lighting that they wish to return the unit.
- A prepaid return label will then be emailed to the customer.
- The customer must dispatch the parcel within the return window.
This reduces unnecessary label cost and prevents misuse.
6.4 Auto-Charge
f the unit is not handed to the courier with valid proof of postage by the end of Day 10, the £650 authorisation will convert into a charge.
This payment becomes final unless delays were caused solely by the courier and proof of earlier drop-off is provided.
7. Conditions for a Valid Trial Return
A return will be considered valid if:
- Dispatched back within the 10-day trial window, with valid proof of postage.
- Unit is clean, functional, and undamaged
- All accessories are included (battery, charger, case, etc.)
- All tamper-evident seals remain intact
- Cosmetic marks from normal handling/testing are acceptable
7.1 Refund Reductions or Refusals
Refunds will not be issued if:
- The unit is dispatched late without prior communication
- Tamper seals are broken or removed
- The unit shows signs of commercial or extended use
- Components or accessories are missing
- The unit is damaged beyond reasonable trial wear
- Serial numbers or identifiers are altered or do not match original records
For valid returns, the authorisation hold is cancelled upon inspection.
7.2 Late Returns & Refund Eligibility
Units dispatched after the 10-day trial window without prior written communication are not eligible for a refund.
If a late return is accepted at Zenon Lighting’s discretion, any refund issued will be reduced by payment processing fees, shipping costs, and any damage or refurbishment costs.
Zenon Lighting is not responsible for courier delays once proof of postage has been provided.
8. Product Build & Variations
- Units are hand-built; small cosmetic variations are normal.
- Zenon Lighting may upgrade hardware, firmware, or specifications at any time.
- Images and renders are for illustration; final appearance may vary.
